BACK BAY

This classic Brownstone in the Back Bay area of Boston was the perfect place for an expanding young family. They had outgrown their existing condo and needed more room for young toddlers to play and move freely about. We worked with a top-notch Boston construction firm to renovate the classic closed floor plan while keeping all the original trim and molding details throughout. The galley kitchen was opened to the formal dining room to create an open Kitchen and Family Room space. An important part of this was creating a curved opening with matching crown and base moldings to what existed throughout. With a long narrow living area, we were able to create three functioning spaces. Additional storage and multifunctioning spaces blend with traditional and modern pieces to truly create a transitional design throughout the home.
