Newton Sophistication

After moving from the East Coast to the Midwest, to the West Coast, and finally back to the East Coast, my clients thoughtfully searched for their forever home for their young family. Our initial work consisted of creating a complete master plan as they took on the gut renovation of a stately home in Newton. Our clients wanted to keep the original classic details in the formal rooms with more casual, modern spaces in the new addition. We designed the public space in the original part of the home to reflect a more formal approach and as you make your way toward the back of the home, the interiors transition to more casual spaces.  The interiors have a beautiful blend of transitional pieces that mix with modern for a timeless look.  

In time we were delighted to be called back to refresh the home to meet the needs of their grown children and new design styles, including creating a custom stair runner and custom area rugs for the front formal rooms.
