When previous clients inherited their family’s long-time cottage on Cape Cod, they reached out for help in bringing the cottage into the present day while preserving their generational memories. We were able to jump seamlessly into this project and worked closely with the builder to meet our client's tight deadline. Esthetically, the goal was to meld traditional vintage with more contemporary pieces. With their garage filled with heirloom furniture and artwork, we were able to select highly personal pieces that we felt best integrated with the new furnishings. Our client has an extensive art collection which also plays an integral part of the design. What emerged is a laid-back family refuge that retains its original charm yet creates fresh spaces for family and friends to gather.
