navigating a custom kitchen renovation in “black & white”

At Kristen Rivoli Interior Design, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and creating unique spaces that reflect our clients' personal styles and needs. Recognizing the importance of effective communication and collaboration, we have formed a panel dedicated to discussing our clients' custom kitchen renovation process. This panel brings together experienced designers, project managers, and skilled artisans who contribute their expertise and insights to ensure a seamless and successful renovation journey. By assembling a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, we can address any challenges, explore innovative design concepts, and guide our clients through every step of their kitchen transformation. This panel serves as a valuable resource, offering our clients in-depth knowledge, personalized guidance, and an opportunity to actively engage in the decision-making process, resulting in a truly personalized and captivating kitchen that exceeds their expectations.

During the panel discussion, a member of our audience raised a question about the "return on investment" when it comes to a custom kitchen. To address this query, Kevin, Josh (our panel sponsor and real estate agent from The Muncey Group), and I found common ground in the opinion that those who choose to invest in a high-end custom kitchen are not primarily seeking financial gains or ROI, but rather investing in the enhancement of their overall quality of lifestyle. We highlighted the example of a client of mine who had a deep passion for cooking and loathed her outdated kitchen. Recognizing her desire for a dream kitchen, both Kevin and I strongly advocated for a complete renovation. In the end, I believe that all parties involved, including our client, are extremely pleased with the results of this investment in her culinary haven.

Our goal with this panel discussion was to provide education on multiple levels. We wanted to enlighten professionals in our industry about the crucial collaboration between Interior Designers, Builders, and other vendors, including real estate agents. By highlighting successful examples like our recent custom kitchen renovation project, we aimed to showcase how working as a team can lead to positive experiences and exceptional outcomes for clients. We recognized the importance of acknowledging and addressing the challenges that arise during any project, and we sought to educate participants on effective ways to navigate these obstacles. We firmly believe in the power of unity within our industry, which is why we emphasized the significance of assisting and supporting one another. Above all, this panel discussion targeted individuals who are considering or initiating a renovation project, as we aspired to educate them on how to build their "Dream Team" and optimize their budget to achieve their vision.
